    Mike we did okay when we got all those all state players, Washington, Stove, and Plaisance. Maybe the best rated kid in Louisiana will pan out as well.

I was simply going to use a much finer filter. However, I may be able to be use the previous policy to a degree with private messages. Keep in mind, some info is only meant to be heard by paying members. Not that it is usually anything super secret. However things like health issues, academic data, mistakes players make average fan does not see, "improvement needs" of certain players, and recruiting trail stories are occasionally discussed. That information is never shared outside the room.

    Good suggestion Beau, I will pass on one more piece of data here. Someone asked how much money was raised by previous basketball coaches. I have learned that a good year in the Coach Lee tenure was 12 grand. We have made good progress in that regard when you use that comparison. That does not mean the 80 grand figure is sufficient. There is a lot of room for improvement. I don't know what an appropriate number would be. I would guess well over 100 grand as that may allow for a couple of charter flights. I know that is near the top of the wish list by some in the program. Schools that have that capability for charter flights have a recruiting advantage and it helps academics as well.

    300k so we could buy two legit DivI games instead of two non division I games.

    I could get behind that goal. I don't know what a legit D1 game is but if we had 150 grand more we could have bought 4 D1 games this year vs 2 D1 and 2 non D1.

    Teams that were in the NIT, or NCAA tournaments in the last two seasons would warrant that type money.

    Worth making an effort to get those type schools. However, most of them will balk at coming here. I do think we should ask however and keep talking if we get a no answer at first. We should first try home and home of course and then resort to paying something. Now some may agree to get paid to come here if we go there for nothing or only expenses. So far, none of our coaches nor administrators have wanted anything to do with that type arrangement in the past. I don't know of a school in America that does that. Even Gonzaga has not resorted to that to help improve their home schedule and the big name schools still refuse to go there. That does not mean we should not look into the feasibility of pursuing. If we had enough funds in the kittie, perhaps it would warrant looking into further. Note we are paying well over 120 grand in total to get Southern and Prairie View to come home here this season.

    Not sure what my decision will be here. I can tell you that additional Rebounders meetings are scheduled for the following dates;

    Tuesday Dec. 4
    Wed. Dec. 19
    Tuesday January 8
    Tuesday Jan. 22
    Tuesday Feb. 5
    Tuesday Feb. 19

    People interested can copy these dates and send me private messages the day after if they want info available to be shared. Also, even though the season has started you can still sign up to be a Rebounders member. If interested, send me a private message.

    It's amazing to me that it cost 120 grand for Southern and Prairie View. I wonder what it would cost for a team like Utah or Washington?

    That’s why I’m putting 300K for two games. For that money we’re not going to your place period.

    So, 60k for a SWAC team. With what the P5 programs get from football, 150k may not get their attention. Top flight programs can pay that same 60k, sell 7,500 to 10k tickets and make that 150k at home.

    Annnnnddddd, Alabama got drummed by Northeastern on the road today. Don’t think for one second their SEC brethren won’t have a long talk in the offseason with Alabama about scheduling “those programs”’

    Mike, I live out of town, has anyone considered doing a web conference for these events? I would pay/signup in a heartbeat.
