Not a bad idea. Any reason that money couldn't be put in an interest bearing account and used for the purpose of buying attractive home games?

I would have to assume that money is needed for other immediate expenses

Because it’s all going to the coach

You know that is not true. Money goes for help with travel costs and recruiting.

Keep in mind, as pointed out in another thread, freaking Vermont balked at coming here.

And hasn’t money always gone to that? What else has drastically increased over the years besides salary? Like doubled?

You say that like Vermont is a crap program. I would kill for their recent success.

Salary comes from RCAF and General university expenses. Increased donations allows guys to have meals at An Applebee’s vs fast food. Also allows better flights and perhaps a charter flight occasionally.

Zoom is it because they are scared to come to Louisiana or UL wasn't offering enough money to cover travel cost and a little money?

My early on suggestion was to add an appearance fee game for investment purposes.

If UL were to buy some names, lesser schools like Vermont would change their tune about coming here.

Money had nothing to do with Vermont not coming here. The NIT was covering the costs. Actually, I think Belmont was more the culprit than Vermont.
