This forum is the National Enquirer of the UL world. I have to say that I don't buy it. While there may be some things happening that could be concerning, I don't think athletic donations are going for academics. Why? Because Dr. Maggard has assured donors that fund donated to RCAF are used for the purpose for which they are donated for. I don't think he would lie about it. Call me naive, but I think this stuff is being exaggerated. Nobody has even stated anything specific about their allegations. Until someone makes a specific verifiable claim, I am assuming this is all BS.

……Well this topic seems to pop up every so many years….I give my version of the RCAF and Foundation……We have several schollies in the foundation that are given….there Are about 3 per year……the board gives the names and the amounts and how each penny was spent…..certain amount was given to the kids…..certain amount to be on hand and certain amount that is invested that grows each year …..also it shows its funds were matched in various programs….when I ask how my money on athletics is delegated, that amount is referenced……. it is shone for all clubs etc……the key to my understanding is that RCAF is trough the Foundation cause it SAVES money!
