Well, it's one thing to gripe about those who don't show up. I understand the frustration. It's quite another thing to gripe about those who have LISTENED to the fans and have taken the proper steps to build a serious program.

Fans whined about the dinosaur. Fans whined about toothpick. Fans whined when Hud lost the locker room and wasn't running a tight ship.

Nothing worth building happens overnight, and it's never cheap, but if the committment is there, it will happen and everyone will be wanting to be a part of the success. Of that I'm certain.

So what you do beg the same people to dig deeper or lower the entry point for causal fans . Im not paid to be the AD so idk nore do I know the finances but I can tell you we are going to be hit by a few million dollar deficit.

I bet the average fan is just like me, and you, and every other dinging swick here. Track the money you spend over a year's time and you'll find you ____ away far, far, more than you think on stupid stuff that you don't need. Very few people are disciplined enough not to waste.

It just drives me crazy to demand a better product on the field and then scream to high heaven because you "gotta pay to park". For the love of Jesus H. Christ, this ____ costs money. Building facilities, hiring top-quality coaches who not only will put a top-quality product on the field, they won't embarrass us with NCAA penalities and dog-and-pony locker room shows, costs money.

You're worried about the deficit, that's fine. But do you want a better product? Are you concerned that the window of oppourtunity to separate ourselves from all the other state schools not named LSU might be closing?

If not, then maybe we should have kept Scott Farmer, Coach Tootpick and numerous others because lord knows they didn't cost us much.
