I believe you are right. The RCAF brochure of this year is the much the same as from last year with regards to the designated parking areas. The priority areas are shown in color, Lots A, C, D whereas general parking areas are shown in grey. Not sure if or where Lot B might be, maybe the Band/Staff parking area. You're also right in stating that the communication about parking could have been better.
I thought the general parking areas shown in grey were free parking areas. Will find out tonight.
i saw a sign for $10 parking. if fans have to pay $10/game for parking for basketball, attendance will be a ____ show. gotta have free parking somewhere
My parking garage is block away from the New Orleans Arena and $10 is what they charge for Pelicans games. If this is true it is absolutely ridiculous. Amazing to think that I would spend more on parking/food/drinks at a Cajun game than I would at a professional basketball game. If all these games are on ESPN+ why would anyone go?
It won’t last. $10 a game to park x say 10 games= $100. That’s probably more than a parking pass. Are they trying to force everyone to join rcaf? That won’t happen. I wonder if you have to pay to park at a Missouri basketball game. Where they come up with such a dumb idea. Is football attendance not showing how much these plans don’t work? $10 for 6 football games is fair. But this is crazy. Fans just won’t show up. They try this for baseball, someone will be packing their bags.
im so glad we wont have doubleheaders this year. no more games starting latrr than 730
I hope the school makes a lot of money off the Espn+ deal, because it’s costing a fortune
Game is delayed?
OT in the Womens game
Absolute bull ____t! I'm calling tomorrow to raise as much hell as I can and attempt to get a refund on my 2 tickets to mens and women's bball. I'm all for being as big-time as possible and increasing revenue, but... They've already run off many casual fans and are doing their best to run off diehards as well!
They ran me out out the C lot last year and said my $500 RCAF wasn't good enough. The Saints and Pelicans create demand for paid parking. We paid nothing to park for the NIT game last year.
