And thats how you build. Get players who don't have to go 500 miles to pass (so said)an act test and can play on the field as well as the class room. Our future hinges on this recruiting class to the point of its the difference between winning a conference championship or being 3rd to 5th overall. Talent/coaching trumps all. Cant have one without the other.
BasinBear, when you mention we may sign one of our best classes, that is saying a lot since you were on staffs that brought in players that competed well with major programs. Granted you used the correct term "on paper" as no one knows how recruiting classes will turn out. "On the verge" is also an appropriate phrase to use as nothing is official until the players sign in December.
I’m not suggesting that he replaces anybody on our staff. I love our staff. But like another poster said you make room for someone like him. I couldn’t imagine how good our recruiting would be with him plus our current staff.
I would love to know exactly what Tony Hull has done for you guys to worship him so much. Every time his name comes up, people around here moisten themselves. Spare me the history lesson, I know what his resume is. If he was such a football savant, he wouldn’t be where he is today and he damn sure would never take an assistant job here.
Again, I wouldn’t replace or mess with a single thing this coaching staff is doing. Especially on the recruiting trail.
