If you can read between the lines you now understand he is not going to be talking to anyone at UL about a job.
I know/ knew Tony well. I wouldn't read into that too much. There are alot of guys from that era that aren't involved with the gridiron club. Not necessarily because they don't want to be but because they don't even know about it

......Well not reason for their not knowing as we tried to contact every former player for our great Weekend function early this season...I guess it was possible to miss some but an effort was certainly made!

I personally ran into several teammates at the cc game that had no clue. One even tokdme he was in the north end zone RV lot tailgating Friday night and had never been contacted

Great event though and well done . Next year we will spread the word on social media

The reunion is really a great idea and it will grow . The semi younger/ semi older crowd is where the attendance was lacking. We will fix that

Baldwin had 6 wins in 3 years, if he does not think the firing was justified I definitely do not want his @$$ here!

Coaches are second parents to these kids & some their only father figure in their life. Its dumb to think the firing was not justified but I can see where he is coming from.

All true but while we are completely speculating, my original comment was based on his supposed loyalty to Baldwin and dislike, if any, for UL based on that firing which was overdue. If you're going to hold a grudge against a school, it better be for a better reason than that.

Will Pooka Williams transfer, along with the other LA kids? Kansas had commits from nola area too, does that door open?

......Oh what a night when Russ got fired....mixed bag with administration, new AD, former players, players, and coaches......Coach Faulkinberry had some big wins and championships and Baldwin will hopefully stay the worst coach in the history of UL!

You guys know him better than me, so I will take your word for it. I hope he does stay connected to the program. Another guy I like from that era is Lamar Morgan at Houston. Good position coach and recruiter.

Yes! Lamar has earned his stripes! I would love to bring him home! He would be a great recruiter in Central Texas.

There isn’t a single coach on this staff I would be in favor of replacing for the sake of adding Tony Hull.

Do you ppl even watch the games... my god.
