WHAT HAPPENED
Down 23-3 at halftime, UL got two Trey Ragas third-quarter touchdown runs from 3 and 5 yards out to bookend the fourth of four Tyler Sumpter field goals and make it a 10-point game.
But Troy blanked the Ragin' Cajuns in the fourth quarter to beat UL 26-16 on Saturday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Troy finished with 427 yards of total offense to 270 for UL, which had just 105 in the opening half.
