If you think this game falls squarely on Nunez then maybe you should look at the missed field goal, dropped pass and the defense playing like complete ____ the first half. This was a team loss. But guess what? We can still win the west. Instead of bashing our kids how about we rally around them instead???

I was kinda thinking this earlier, but I'm apparently the negative nancy of these parts. Anyway, Nunez had an awful game, BUT, if the TE caught the pass going into the endzone, he's fighting for a field goal to tie (actually to lead because we wouldn't have gone for 2) at the end of the game. I'm bummed our defense sucks but this is a whole lotta mess left by hudspeth. We lack athletes on defense period. I do honestly think our DC and crew is doing the best they can with the guys they have, but they just aren't D1 Athletes.

You know what's nuts? As sloppy as we played, we STILL could've won the game. A missed fg and a dropped TD Pass.....that's a 10 point turnaround PLUS the failed 2 pt try.....11 points.

If this team can fix their issues and create more consistency, we can be a dangerous team. We are THAT close.
