We'll score 40+.
I hope that is more than Troy scores.
Over.....97
Under....77
I think we win but it's gonna be a real barn burner....
My prediction is based on research, trends and mathematical processes.
Back in 2017, our baseball team beat Troy’s baseball team by a combined score of 18-14.
If you take each of the teams’ scores and divide them by 0.4, you get a number that you can then take that number and divide it by 1.5.
The next step is critical. The figure you get after Step 2, you must multiply by 1.2. Also, round to the nearest whole number, as our defense does not yet have the talent, nor full scheme in place, to hold teams to less than whole numbers when they score.
The final output is:
Cajuns - 36
Troy - 28
Louisiana 35
Troy 28
We rollin'
Double check your math on the Louisiana score. You’re off by one. Could be just a careless error.
Then again, the announcers referring to us as Louisiana instead of just Cajuns or Ragin Cajuns could factor into a one point reduction in our output. I’m not sure the scientific basis for this, but it could be a hypothesis worth examining.
Other than the Boise game to start the season, Troy has not given up more than 27 points in a game and that was to ULM, who scored a pair of TD late.
We're not scoring 40 on these guys. It'll be very difficult to get to 30.
