So in game criticism is not allowed here? OK. I really don't care how long he's been here, this staff is being paid like we should have some sort of expectations.

    This 1000000x

Last year, we were a team on probation with a divided locker room and no leadership. If we can win the West and get a bowl berth, this coaching staff would easily earn their salaries and then some.

Lannister is like me. He just wants results for the investment he has put in. We will be vocal about our coaches and may come off as harsh, but we just demand the best out of our coaching staffs and administrators like anyone else.

Outside of statistics like wins, yards gained, yards allowed, etc ... the rest is fairly subjective.

Like I said, this is my opinion from attending games since 1975. I understand how people have different expectations than me, this is just how I feel about where we are in the program right now.
I don't expect everyone to be perfect just get better from week to week and minimize the mistake you made in previous games. What I find interesting is that weakest position on the team is also coached by the guy with the least amounts of experience so hopefully both can grow & developed in the future.

Having said that my goodness Johnson was hard to watch especially for a 5th year senior he has to do better

No closing speed....he's ok in the red zone because there is not a lot of room to roam. He got caught watching the backfield Saturday instead of securing his position and responsibility on that play.

I'm hopeful he can get us there, but not 100 percent convinced yet. Like we have been saying, only time will tell, and that means a year or two more.
    Time did tell.
The majority is this roster is playing above it’s head. We are winning games we shouldn’t be. We are competitive with the league’s best teams. And the man hasn’t had a full year yet. The locker room is healthier than its ever been. The players believe in the staff. They believe they SHOULD win every time out.

It’s just unbelievable that people are still complaining about this staff.

Somebody is never happy with Everything, no matter how well things may or may not be going. Its human nature.

That is understood. Personally, I thought we tried to throw the ball deep too often late in the game and could have tried the sideline to get out of bounds. However, I admit I don't know the details of what went on there and realize I have no ability to change things at this stage.

I don't know if Garror would have done any better but he does have more talent than Johnson. Coach said that Garror, Mitchell, and Mccaskill should all be back this week on radio this morning. Nothing definite there but that is encouraging news.

Garror is a baby, and still, IMO, has the technique and hips of a lockdown corner. He’s impressing the hell out of me.
