UL had very close athletic ties with high schools throughout its early history.

It was the secret to the massive growth that catapulted the school to #2 in just 39 years.

I don't know how many will get this connection but every school in Acadiana had trampolines in 1970's

UL was the influence.

So 71 is right every HS coach in the recruiting footprint should experience constant contact.

That segment should be edited down into 15 second (short attention students) segments and shown on every closed circuit/in house video platform on campus with the tag promoting next game...serve it up on phones etc...wont cost a thing except the edits...so easy a student engagement manager can do it...

Mike, I have no problem posting ideas here. I do have a problem giving them away to folks who are paid to come up with these type of simple and relevant ideas (not that mine are always great, possible, or relivant).
Jay probably ghosts RP, Nico and the multitude of associates in athletics are paid to think this stuff up..as always I appreciate the complement.

I agree. I think it's silly all the suggestions to send what is posted here so they will see it. If they are not following this board, shame on them. I'm not saying they need to adopt or even agree with anything here, but they certainly should pay attention.
