I didn’t hear or read where anyone had a problem with it. I think honoring the military is a great thing. Not sure what a black out and honoring the military have to do with one another. Shouldn’t it be a camo out with some form of camo uni?

I would guess his wearing black is for the players to distinguish him and the other coaches from the red uniforms during the game. If the team wears black unis, he just might wear red or white for that same reason.

Well that theory has been debunked. To keep in line with what you are saying when the team is in red he could wear white. When team in white he could wear red. It would serve the same purpose. I think he is just the Johnny Cash of college football. You know it's starting grow on me.
