I was harping on the same thing last night. You have to let the qb keep sometime to keep that RPO dynamic.

Our TE coach could probably teach him a thing or 2 about how to run the zone read

He did it keep it one other time, other than the TD and it was a one yard loss. It is obvious he doesn't want to run the ball or he has been coached to not run it.

Napier is still learning game management just saying this is a recurring problem where he out coaches himself.

Sometimes the other coach does a good job too. They are trying to win too you know. I just keep the "coach is crap at play calling" in the back pocket when we hang almost 50 on our mortal conference enemies.

I do think it's a decision to protect nunez. We are thin at experience at QB, and we are LOADED at RB. I imagine we may see Nunez keep here and there but not much. I hate it too, you see how open it is, but I understand the limitations. Napier is not running the offense exactly like he wants, he's running the offense he needs until he can get the depth and players he wants. That's my take at least.

"crap at play calling" is only realized when the play doesn't have the desired result. We are all brilliant once the play is over.
