Yes the start of the second half was awful it was conservative and predictable and reason ark state was able to take the lead. You cant let off the gas because it has gotten us in trouble a lot when we do.

4th quarter was much better with a uptick in pace and you saw the results. He is still learning to manage a game and in the future you can lean on your D more but not this year.

We perhaps did try to run too much on first down in the third quarter. Ark State took the lead however due to the interception followed by a quick TD. We were in Red Wolves territory when that happened. Not sure if play calling had much to do with that.

Damn, what crappy weather for football. No wonder we can't have better Attendance: I don't blame half or better of 600 students for leaving at half time. Their excuse was that they don't like nail biting games. I enjoyed the cheer leaders preforming in from of the 12 students......and I enjoyed the score board sound system. It was just enough to prevent hearing the band. Oh, did they play more than total of five minutes.

I’m very impressed by the effort all the way around. Over fame adversity and just beat a more talented team. Like someone mentioned, the matchups were all against us. Defense played their guts out. OLine was spectacular tonight.

Band was also very much involved and halftime show was excellent.

I don't know if I'd say they played better but I loved that they played together. You rarely saw one person tackling a ball carrier. The defense flew around even though it was on the field a LOT. We just don't have the athletes out there right now to be able to out and play tough defense for an entire game.

To me, the key is when we blitz. When we did, Hansen was pressured, hurried and sometimes sacked. When we didn't, he had all the time out there to make throws. We need to be aggressive game in and game out. It will yield big plays but its the only way we can make the passer make mistakes.

That was a great game. Our offense is a blast to watch. I think some of you hit on it... our defense didn't do much as have a bad game as they were up against a very good offense. I couldn't find a single weakness in the A State offense. Great game. This was a hugely pivotal game. I see it not only as a season changer... it's a program changer. Napier has something to move this program with.

What a beautiful day. I understand, from moving around the tailgates, and moving through the stands, the fan base is in a lag. I wouldn't keep admonishing them. It may be how you feel, but it's completely ineffectual, and counterproductive. When a program is in rebuild... and this program is... with our history of underperforming in the wake of giant hype... you cannot expect more than what you see from fans and students. The good news is... as Napier keeps progressing... and winning... the fans and students will arrive in larger numbers. It won't happen until it happens.

A State can pocket protect. And Hansen is a very good QB. I think our defense played their butts off. They were up against a strong offense.
