I'm not sure and don't have the numbers but it seems that can't be right. Paid attendance numbers is probably a little more for baseball than basketball. 27 baseball games, 12 basketball. Got to be more revenue in baseball.

There is no near term potential for that in baseball
Wrong. Look at the financials. Very easy to see.

And in baseball, we have a legit chance at winning big, and have already made a substantial investment in the future of the program, while coaching salaries are around $350k total, as opposed to $700k.

At this point, basketball still brings in more revenue. Neither actually turn a profit, but it’d be interesting to see where the losses stand.

    You said across the board.

    I said broad brush.

    Now you say "we"

We is a different story. UL baseball is an unequivocal success story. An internal success story.

UL basketball can't say that, but it has financial potential elsewhere in the system.

I don’t even think you understand what you’re saying sometimes.

It’s understood that I’m talking about the Cajuns. And referring to the whole of MBB to make a point pertaining to our investment in the sport.

Are you speaking across the board or specifically here at UL? Across the board, its not even close between the two sports as to which one generates more money. Basketball is worlds ahead of baseball. Now, here at UL there is probably a bridge between the sports and both are probably much closer to each other than at your typical school since we are amongst the nation's leaders in attendance.

This topic actually got me curious and I was doing some looking into the revenues for both sports. Do you have any or a source for that info that I could look at?

I do. When I have a chance, I’ll send it to you. It’s public, just don’t remember the exact link. Also folks in the admin that I lean on for such things; I might be able to get some up to date info for this year as well. (This passed athletic year I mean).

Rarely do I understand what I'm saying.
