Long overdue. But it smells fishy. You wouldn’t force someone out until the end of a season.
Edit: I didn’t know season was over.

I stand corrected. I lose track of months.
18 games 10 goals, what else can you say.
I coach a 12u girls team. Had them at a few games. Eventually I told them to watch what the other team does.
Cajuns were making some decisions that my 12u team has put in the rear view. Very disappointing division 1 soccer team. One game I saw was the best of the year. The win over Arkansas state, still played plenty bad in that 1-0 win.
We have a soccer team?
This will be interesting. Scot, Pogi...they’ve just poached LYSA for coaches. Let’s see what Maggard handles this.
Louie Cook
women’s soccer coach Scot Wieland has resigned after 14 years on the job, Ragin’ Cajuns athletic director Bryan Maggard announced Monday.
Wieland went 93-143-32 at UL, including 3-12-3 during a 2018 season that ended with Sunday’s 2-1 Senior Day home loss in overtime to Georgia State.
The Cajuns haven’t had a winning season under Wieland since 2014.
