BOONE, N.C. — If Appalachian State is the Sun Belt success standard, as UL head coach Billy Napier called them earlier in the week, then the Cajuns showed on Saturday they might be ready to challenge that. All they need now is a second chance.

That chance could come sooner than later, specifically Saturday, Dec. 1, the inaugural Sun Belt Championship game. Currently, App State (5-1 overall, 2-0 Sun Belt) is living up to the preseason East Division favorite tag and likely could host that game.
