MBB Red White IntraSquad Game
I have leaned that men's basketball is planning to soon hold a Red -White game in the Dome which will be open to the public. Tentative date is Thursday November 1. That happens to be the day of the women's exhibition game scheduled to start at 6:30. Therefore, the men may have to start sometime around 4. This is all very tentative and times may need to be adjusted. Reason for this idea is the guys are participating in two closed scrimmages vs other opponents this year rather than one closed scrimmage and one exhibition game. If this goes off, it will give fans a chance to see the transfer from St. Louis named Jalen Johnson (originally from BR and a guy we recruited out of HS). He is one of the more talented guys on the team and may remind some of a former good player we had named Tyren Johnson. That will be the only chance to see Johnson as he must sit out this year It will also be the first opportunity to see 4 new guys which include 3 HS guys and one JUCO player. How much returnees have improved could also be interesting to see. If this goes off, I hope some of you find the time to check the guys out.
