Someone needs to help me understand this sentence in the article.
•It is the fifth-straight season that the Cajuns will play Appalachian State and the third time in the past four seasons.
App St is good, but they are no juggernaut. It's going to take playing lights out and mistakes to a minimum to beat them. We may even need a turnover or two to go our way, but it can be done. If we can run and focus on stopping the run early in the game, I like our chances.
Weather is improving for Saturday. Light rain to end early, cloudy, high 53 with a 10-15 mph wind, which will seem gustier as it comes off the mountains surrounding Boone. Low Sat. night is 35. Dress in layers. Like I've said, if you think that's cold, you didn't sweat enough this summer...
Be sure to plan for rain. Boone has a reputation for rain stopping and starting fairly constantly before the skies clear for good. Keep in mind that no umbrellas are allowed in the stadium. We also have a clear bag policy that you'll want to check out before you pack your stuff for the stadium. Travel safely. We'll see you in Boone.
