According to an article I saw this morning, he is 25th in the nation in completion percentage. Wonder where he stands in the QB efficiency ratings. Also, one of his TD's to Jackson made one of the ESPN Sports Center Top 10 list. Congratulations to both on that honor. I also wonder if he has a chance to be the SBC offensive player of the week.

I think that is the process, but I like many don't believe you do it at the price of wining a game you are still in. If your starting QB is in rhythm and the offense is executing while scoring points, I don't think changing QBs is a positive thing. This Saturday was an exception to that rule because NMSU couldn't defend our offense and our staff knew it was good to put Lewis in while the offense was having success. JMO

Coach Napier probably questioned himself for putting Lewis into the game in the 2nd half of the CCU game for the very reasons you mention.

Well if he didn't he should. He did say however that there was much the staff could learn from this game. I would like to think that the effect of the timing of QB changes in that game thought them something.

He was hired to coach, not write books. Hope he learned that also from the CC game. Not sure he is a good author, might be a good coach.
