I agree!!! Nunez is our guy! Please stop switching qb’s mid game!

    Gotta get behind this team!!!

I saw 5 tds and it was like, “when did that happen? Wait, he does have 5, doesn’t he?”
He established himself as the #1 guy vs Grambling. I say that only because I have no idea how well anyone does in practice. BUT yet, we still continue to play 2 QBs.

One of the reasons we play two is due to the desire to help Lewis be better prepared to be the 2019 starter.

I think that is the process, but I like many don't believe you do it at the price of wining a game you are still in. If your starting QB is in rhythm and the offense is executing while scoring points, I don't think changing QBs is a positive thing. This Saturday was an exception to that rule because NMSU couldn't defend our offense and our staff knew it was good to put Lewis in while the offense was having success. JMO

Watched Nunez throw laser darts on quite a few 10-15 yard slants/in routes Saturday with ease.

If Lewis would start doing that, I might start crying.

My biggest complaint with Nunez up until this past Saturday was his lack of passing down the seam. It was the 50/50 jump balls or short passes in the flat. Then, his first pass against NMSU down the seam was a perfect slant to Bradley for a TD. Might I add that the offensive line played on of their best games to where Nunez had time to settle in the pocket and make some nice throws.

Coach Napier probably questioned himself for putting Lewis into the game in the 2nd half of the CCU game for the very reasons you mention.

Well if he didn't he should. He did say however that there was much the staff could learn from this game. I would like to think that the effect of the timing of QB changes in that game thought them something.

The book was written before the CC game but it's another example of why you don't always "go by the book."

He was hired to coach, not write books. Hope he learned that also from the CC game. Not sure he is a good author, might be a good coach.

    That's a hard cover statement.
