Those are almost always metaphors and not to be taken literally … except in the case of Yvette Girouard when she began the Ragin’ Cajun softball program in 1980

I helped put on a fundraiser over 20 years ago where the Lady Cajun Softball team played against some baseball old-timers. I have the advertising poster we had made up autographed by Tony Robichaux, Ron Guidry and Yvette Girard! Nice!

I think they switched accounts. First, Boomer with two coherent posts in a row and now this.

I think it's nice that the university decided to honor her for the success in starting the softball program and bringing it to a nationally relevant level, but she will be "back on board" when she stops with the "ULLs/Louisiana-Lafayettes" etc. on all tv broadcasts.

The plaque has likely long since been destroyed, but even if not, you don't think the two of them will ever let it see the light of day again, do you?
