We've had that discussion many times, I like New Mexico State over Georgia Southern any day because they bring more to the SBC than football. Now, the cost would be more for spring sports on our program for certain. But let me say this, if you enjoy driving around the rolling hills and peach orchards of Union Parish, then you will fall in love with Stateboro, Ga. Las Cruces is way more scenic than Ruston 2.0.

Well then you would love the rolling hills and peach orchards of Union Parish, because Statesboro, Ga. is Ruston 2.0. And you must be single.

I’m married. But after my mom passed away, using the” needing to spend time with dad” card worked great. Till like I said. He remarried. Haha.

That's a cool story! Most of my trips are with family or work. So I attend MLB games, minor league games, a few NFL games and mostly events that I can do with family. My father passed as well, he loved to fish.

Yeah, I'm only comparing New Mexico to Idaho and only looking at things to do, places to eat, overall quality of their sports teams.

It's definitely a flight destination for me. Not that I can go.

I would drive to Las Cruces 1000 times before driving to Statesboro, Conway or. Boone. And if I am flying, it is still no contest; Las Cruces is much easier to get to.

Played red hawk in las cruces Saturday morning, the best visual golf course I’ve played. Then drank a few at a local bar and grill. Watched the Cajuns win 44-16. We were so fired up after we drove back about 4 hours. Then drove about another 12 home on Sunday. We decided to go on Wednesday night at about 10pm. Great trip. Dad got remarried soon after, needless to say that was our last crazy bro trip. We had a few but that was the craziest.
Great and way cool story. This is the kind of life expereience that makes it worth living.

    Salute.

This, but it's probably those eastern schools that were birching about traveling out there
I'd much rather have NMSU as a conference mate than these FCS callups. maybe that's just me though

i know Scott Farmer was giddy about having his alma mater (Ga southern) and all its friends in the conference

Lafayette to Houston Dallas Atlanta and then to anywhere!

All those FCS call ups keep beating us in football (except for Georgia State and Texas State). And if it weren't for those FCS call ups, we'd have no conference to call home.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case since we can't ever seem to move on- at least with our past admin .
