For decades the UL Alumni Association's mode of operation was to pick things that steered ULumni away from the U. Such as ski trips, cruises etc.

Perhaps seeing and picking the festival was a residual of the old steer clear mentality?

Not since 2012 against Tulane was homecoming before October 31.

2017 homecoming was November 18 against the same NMSU team.

2016 and 2017 were the only years without a Saturday home game in October. 2013-2015 had at least 1 every season.
