Thread: Homecoming attendance? 18,132 (merged)

I agree that students need to get more involved and attend games. However, I think getting more of the general population in the area to attend is just as big of a problem. We can’t put all the blame on the students. We need everyone to step up. But to do that the Cajuns need to get to the point that winning is the norm and losing is the exception!

How excited can a fan base get to play Appetizer State, Idaho (in years past), New Mexico State, inter-coastal Carolina, etc. This conference SUUUUUUUUUCKS... and is not appealing to anyone outside of it. No other way to put it. Keep winning, move up to a better conference and I believe the crowds will improve. If you build it... err... keep building it... they will keep coming.
I agree the teams in the conference do not have regional appeal. However the results on the field indicate it is on top of CUSA and the MAC this season.

When was the last time we had a flyover before kickoff? Let's start off with a crop duster and work our way up to an F-16.

As many as it would take to win a conference championship

I would take 30,000 fans every game even if most of them were crop dusting at the same time

(Hopefully mostly on the visitor side)
That would be a home field advantage amirite

Maybe we should ask them what music they played after every play? We must be playing the wrong stuff.

I was just scrolling through Facebook and I saw more of my UL fraternity brothers in pics at the Georgia game than I saw around Cajun field on Saturday. No doubt LSU having the 2nd biggest game of the year for them hurt the Cajun attendance.
