I think the player, after the game, are looking on the student side for support, win or lose. They have a few rail birds looking for a hand slap after the game. Those deserve a high five.......
By your metrics if we have 300-500 more students come to the game we might get 25k to the game? That's not much of a difference. Base fans ARENT doing their part. I'll give you another scenario. Imagine there's 35-45k base fans in the stands every game. I'd bet you would see an almost exponential.growth in students.

As for the 2nd part...if we were somehow 5-0 right now with wins over Miss State and Bama, you’d have a butt in every seat and patch of grass at Cajun Field. If anything, even just LSU fans curious to see what the hell our team is about.

Of course, that’s not the case right now.
I dont think we'd sell out. We dont have any sort of supply and demand at cajun field. Just anyone can get a ticket and there's no buzz and excitement around it. You mentioned lsu and they have people on a waiting list to spend their life savings to get season tickets. But its "too expensive nowadays here" and cant give away tickets even with reduced costs promos like mcdonalds family fun pack, etc.

Just to keep things in perspective before Hud got here 22,000 was a damn good attendance day. I’d be happy with that. I hope the good weather will bring out more fans.

The problem is that the new stadium expansion makes a crowd of 22,000 look empty as ****. Another problem is that they maked the middle sections of the East side off for reserved seating but couldn’t actually sell tickets there. So it stays empty.

FYI, LSU doesn't have a waiting list for season tickets. They didn't sell all their season tickets this season.

These students suck, plain and simple. No sugar coating it. I was at the Texas State game, and they had about 2-3k students there (in the first half) for a terrible team, with ACL going on down the road. I don't think there is a worse student section in the Sunbelt than UL. Maybe Georgia State, but I can't confirm that, yet.

    ETA: 19,450
    300 students

    LSU/UGA keeps away 5k

    They weren't always bad.

Someone sent the message that they didn't matter.

Someone needs to send the message that they are needed.
