77, you better widen that circle, fast. There's some people from Eunice and Jeanerette that want in on this marketing blitz!

Ok, so what's the message you'll market? What's the call to action? What emotion do you appeal to? Can you leverage both electronic and digital media with the same message? Other than the team's win and losses, how do you fix the issues that are driving people to not show up? Can the problems be fixed? At what cost? How much budget do you pour into fixing the issue? What's an expected ROI? Outside of wins, this issue will take time and money, lots of money to fix this issue...lastly, what does the Ragin Cajun brand mean to this geo area?
It's easier to find 10 people with 100 dollars than 1 person with 1000 dollars. The more people in the fold the better chance you have of finding people willing to make a contribution to the cause.
1. Even though we are Louisiana, that we represent the Acadiana area, and not just Lafayette. Whether y’all know it or not I honestly think majority of people outside of Lafayette view our university in that matter.
2. That we will do what it takes to be successful, and try to move up. Their money is spent wisely
3. Appeal to the fact that we represent this area, and we represent Cajun Culture and Acadiana Nationally.
4. We should get coaches, administrators, AD to show up to festivals all around the Acadiana area and invite people to come to the game, and welcome new people to Ragin Cajun athletics, and have them meet the coaches, and AD personally.
5. Just being innovative, and getting out in the community should be enough, would not take much money.
6. Well these are things that the University could do just to stay with current fans and to bring in new fans, but most importantly to show the current community that we exist and care about their support.
Think thousands and not hundreds. The AD and others tour Acadiana every year, maybe twice...how has that worked out? That's good for the few big wallet cats, not the thousands needed for sustained, long term, attendance.
The music they are playing is targeting an audience that they have priced out of the stadium( other than students) who as you can see aren’t staying for the music anyway. So why not play to the older crowd with families that spend money.
By the way, as soon as I walked in the gate, about 24 minutes before kick, I swear I herd a F bomb in the rap song that was playing. Maybe it was bleeped poorly but I did a double take.
A whole bunch of folks stayed in the tailgating area to watch the LSU game.....far more than anyone wants to know had tickets to our game.....I spoke to several after the game myself.....and yes I had a case of red ___ after speaking to them. There's an old street proverb..."don't ____ in your own nest". Fans need to step up. We are blowing it.
I thought they tried some, clear the tailgate area when the game starts rule a few years back. Fix that crap.
2 people above the age of 18 allowed per tailgate spot once the game starts. Everyone else in the stands or leave. The school has every right to do that.
I think it’s a pathetic joke that so many people get wasted all day in a parking lot. Because if your not going in the game, then your just getting wasted in a parking lot.
I have a field in the country. I’ll charge only $5 a car to tailgate there on Saturday’s. Save all the losers lots of money.
