It was our pleasure!!! So glad we made this trip. Boone & the surrounding areas are drop dead gorgeous. And, very impressed with the community support for App State. Their fanbase has to be some of the best around. Great people everywhere. We’ll do it again and get that W!!!

Agree with all of this. App St knows what they’re doing and the community is behind them 100%. Tradition was obvious, passion was palpable. I must have been stopped 5-6 times and thanked for “visiting Boone”.

I don’t have a single bad thing to say about that place. Will definitely go back as soon as possible.

I don't have a single bad thing to say about that place. Will definitely go back as soon as possible.

Boone is one of those places, like Lafayette, that as soon as you get there, you know you're somewhere special. Have been going to Boone for the last 11 years, with 71 to App State lineman camps for 2 years, his unofficial visits for those two years, and then the next 8 as an App parent.

The only other place I've gotten this same feeling of being somewhere unique and special, other than Lafayette and Boone, were trips we would take to Chapel Hill. But, I'm UL first, 4 life!

.....just as a reminder....we treated their visitors to Lafayette very very good when they came here.....the PBA was at its gentlemanly best!
