To be honest, the game was somewhat boring because UL just dominated McNeese. I was expecting a better showing from McNeese but the UL pitching shut down their hitters. I realize that it is fall ball and that the McNeese coach kept turning over his lineup but McNeese went 3 up, 3 down so many times I lost count.

Have to say that I was impressed with the McNeese infielder arm including the catcher. They can really throw.

I agree - they have some really good athletes and will win a lot of games next year. I also thought their pitchers had good velocity.

I note that they have a Fall game at LSU coming up. LSU should be concerned.

Last night's game had the feeling of a real Spring game - three umps, scoreboard, popcorn, instate opponent that has been to two consecutive regionals with us - vocal crowd - I was in my happy place near the Cajun dugout!

I counted about 30 blue t-shirts in the crowd, so McNeese probably had 40-50 fans - my guess is the crowd was 600-700 fans. As usual, our fans were vocal and very loud.

Keeli Milligan is the real deal and, with Aerial Mass and Raina O'Neal, will again provide Louisiana with one of the best outfields in the nation.

Bailey Curry has elite power. Comeaux, C-Gremillion and Chaumont provided consistent bats and fielding. Kara Gremillion and Alissa Dalton elite in the field and at the bat. Readeaux and Mass nursing injuries.

Summer doing Summer - very impressive. Very deep staff. Kandra Lamb is as advertised. Great future for Louisiana Softball.

After the game, our girls lined up at the exit and thanked us for attending, huge smiles on their face!

It was after 8 and I still had some work to do so I left after the 7th inning.
