If this was a problem across the board with women athletes at UL, don't you feel that there would be a diverse group of female athletes backing this law suit and not just softball players that Coach Mike has apparently brainwashed?

Both DJ Sanders and Shae Schreckengost say they are doing this for the University because females and male athletes are not being given the same treatment. Shouldn't their be basketball, track, volleyball, soccer...players on this law suit also?

That is another reason I think this is a bogus law suit.

Right. How many other women's teams do we have? Are there any rumblings from other athletes regarding disparate treatment? Or is this more Lotief brainwashing his former athletes?

It's all to distract from the center of this whole mess, Mike's pattern of unacceptable behavior.

Using that term “track star” mighty loosely, baw.

"Honestly it (filing OCR complaint) had a lot to do with me being in Oregon and seeing the difference between the two programs," Sanders said.

Wasn’t DJ a student representative on the search committee for the new AD? If she was that well thought of...wouldn’t her opinion have a little weight with the athletic dept on these issues? It’s not adding up for me.

Disclaimer: I think this lawsuit is pure garbage.

However, what they seem to be saying is that they were shocked that they could eat at the same trough as the male athletes at their new schools. However...

They weren't given clean water at UL???????

Edited because I can't type on this phone.

Good point indded. Kind of odd that it's just members of the Lotief's cult

So are they talking about the fueling station(s) with supplements for football?

Pretty sure the new full time nutrition staff covers all sports now.

Supplements were paid for by the sport or a booster ... ML did not want to pay for his girl's supplements simple as that.

Many of us were approached often about nutrition supplemental funds for football and basketball. So no Loteif never sent anyone or called regarding nutrition.

How many G5 schools not located in California routinely play in the Garman Classic? Although UL clearly and passionately support softball, the sport still does not make a profit. Yet they play games and tournaments all over the U.S. UL did not have to allow that. These female programs exist because of what happened this weekend . . . the football team prostitutes itself for $1.25 million in order to support the other athletic programs. I am sorry that (perhaps) the football team got a few extra cookies at training table. This softball team was treated very well and had world class facilities. And to the girl that transferred to Michigan State, the females in that athletic program were abused by Larry Nasser. I don't think comparing how female athletes at Michigan State are treated to how they are treated at UL is going to be a favorable one. This entitlement mentality is just senseless and nauseating.
