I still think and believe Napier is the coach that will get us to where we all want to be. I certainly have not seen anything to think different. It sucks to be where we are, but the last two to three years under Hud, this team was in a nose dive. I would say, we have leveled off, but it's low. Now, for the climb up. It will depend in a major part to recruiting, a slow and agonizing (for me anyway) process.

Mike, do you ever say something 100% positive about any sport other than basketball? Serious question.

Just because I believe the current team lacks talent to have success, does not mean I don't see good things down the road. I said something positive a few posts back. I said that youngsters will want to come here as they know the experience they will gain will help them become men. Hearing what Coach Napier said to the team after the loss actually has me quite optimistic about the long term future of the program. There is someone who participates here who told me something that has stuck with me. That is how successful you are in this business is determined by how you handle the disappointment of losing. He is doing that well which will allow him to have the guys handle success the right way when that day comes.

Microsoft still supports IE somewhat, but they have replaced IE with Edge.
Chrome would be my recommendation though

My analogy is this, Maggard & Napier are building a beautiful house. The form is being built right now. We aren't even at the pouring the foundation. We have the plans and the permits and this whole year January - December will be completing the foundation. It will include almost two recruiting classes because of the December signing period, a full year of teaching, playing games & evaluating. It will take another year to frame and get it roughed in ... maybe you get some good weather and you get a little ahead of schedule. Year 3 is where you really start seeing the finished product and start getting excited and Year 4 is the move in date.

That it how I view it, and I get the frustration, but I truly believe this is the only way to build a sustainable program. Yes, other G5 teams have had points of great success, but only the truly consistent, great ones have done it for lasting success. I am talking about the TCU's and Boise's of the world.

It's not easy and not always pretty, but that is what I believe is being done here.

I remember someone saying before the season started that the record this season was not a concern as this staff was going to build this program the correct way so as it would be successful for the long term. Of course it is easy to say that in July. When you walk out disappointed like last Saturday you realize how painful the process may be.

Yeah, you are so right. While I said the same thing, I was also wildly optimistic about this season. Thanks for helping me put in the right prespective.
