UA- I don't wanna know
UL- some points
There is no fix for that. We may be in the same classification as Alabama, but our resources are much closer to those of FCS programs than they are to those of P5 programs.
We're simply wannabe's that are destined to a lifetime of frustration when it comes to our position in the world of college football. We can, though, take heart in the fact that we've got lots of company, as in every fan of every other program in a G5 conference.
25% OF 80 million is 20 million or a 60 million difference. 25% of 20 million is 5 million or a 15 million difference. I would say the average FCS is closer to us than we a closer to Alabama (and for that matter most of the P5). You can play with percentage all you want it's the absolute that is the reality. The reality is, it hard for us to compete against the big money schools because of the money difference and the image projected by the big media outlets (and the money generated by that image projected by the media). Why do you think ESPN CONTINUALLY adds the extra L and puts up the wrong logo? Because they see us as a little school from Louisiana that needs to stay in its place. It is a bias on their part because in their eyes if we are not from the north east or the west coast we not only don't exist we don't deserve to exist.
