We've been saying this now for at least the last 40 years, and it simply isn't happening. I don't know why, but we seem destined to have a poor to mediocre football program at best. Maybe we'd be better off if we concentrated only on MBB, baseball, and softball.
I can't worry myself with it anymore. Losing to Coastal Carolina ended this season for me.
So... About that move to a new conference?
We need to come out and run the triple option.... the only way we win is to eat clock.... it will be a long year if our defense goes on the field.
We have perfected the ability to make other teams look great. As Andy Griffith would say: "awful, just awwwfffullll!" 3 games into the season and we are already talking about next year. The only thing that is for sure next year is that we will be talking about the next year being the one.
No, next year we'll all once again be talking about going to the New Orleans Bowl as if that's some big prize in college football.
I'll stop it. I have to. Last night's game left me so frustrated that I think I just need to back away for a while. I'm getting too old for this. What I've always dreamed of for Cajun football may just not be meant to be. At least not in my lifetime.
Went to sleep. Woke up. Still angry. Did hud leave the cupboard so empty that we can’t beat coastal freaking Carolina? Who just went through a natural disaster and lost their quarterback for the second half?
That was a game you had to have. Tell me where the wins are if we can’t beat ccu?
