    LTURd/ULM in for more buttux hurt. Population in many North Louisiana parishes is flat or declining and the demagraphics are older.....regional growth in student counts is not an option.

    Also for post grad work.....most post grads need an income stream to supplement costs. Ruston gets an F in this.....unless a career in fast food or convenience store/retail is acceptable. Monroe offers some options Ruston simply cant.

    Yes, and also why it would be nearly impossible for a med school to set up shop there, with practically zero healthcare structure to support it. I think even a law school would be a huge stretch: students would have to be totally self-supporting to live in rustonia.
