If nothing else, Billy Napier proved in his first road game as head coach of the Ragin’ Cajuns that he is willing to be aggressive when circumstances allow.

Whether or not he is a real riverboat gambler like his predecessor, seven-season Cajuns coach Mark Hudspeth, remains to be seen.

But Napier did show, in one game at least, that he is willing to push all in when the pushing makes sense.
