It's only been 2 games...I don't see how judgement can decided on 2 data points. They played a goat, then played a very tough team.

There is no judgement being made but I'm also not dismissing the first year or two just because the team is not fully "his" players. If he will be as great of a coach as many seem to think he is or will be, we can make improvements from last year this year.

I predicted a win because at the end of the day, I’m a fan, I thought the schedule benefited us more than most P5 slates we’d played recently. I underestimated Miss St desire to win yesterday and I most certainly didn’t expect our players to be afraid to make plays.

WOW explains your reading comprehension once again Vickie. The reason is you can't go through one post and prove where I'm showing judgement towards the man. I tend to look at things from a more objective approach especially when it comes to coaching and our views on success. I was lectured the last couple of weeks about how good Napier is and certainly will be (You know, the whole legend thing). I certainly hope he will be and like MAT, I support him.

After the win against Grambling, its how different the team looks and watch out SBC. After the loss, its "well he doesn't have his players". He had the same players in the win versus Grambling as he did in the blowout to MSU. I'm not judging him in terms of how successful I think he will be because, like you said, he's only coached two games and none of us know how good he will be.

I love how you can distort things written and claim I am "calling him out". Never did it and won't do it. I'll state my opinions on what I thought we did well and what we didn't do so well but that's not judging him. Of course, I wouldn't expect you to get that.

So you can't see what you're going to get out of your coach prior to year 3? I get that it takes time to recruit and all but you still have to coach the players you do have. I mean, that is coaching. You can play disciplined ball with the current players. You can make proper adjustments with current players. We aren't an FCS team with no players.
