I don't bet any more (I used to put my money where my mouth is, including $1300 to win $1000 on the over in the Louisiana-aTm game last year) but I would have no problems betting big on Louisiana +30.5 if I were still playing.
I don't think they're 30 points better. Alabama maybe, but not the cowbells.
I put modest bets on the Cajuns from time to time, but I don’t like to bet when I don’t have a read on a team. Grambling told us little about this years team. I’d like to think Napier has us better, but I know he inherited a mediocre team. The way we complete this weekend will be a good barometer on how to bet the Cajuns.
BEAT HUD!
If not this year, then next!
No one has ever mentioned to me I resemble Dabo Swinney. However, when I was younger a few folks said I looked like Prince Charles. In fact, I was walking down Canal Street at lunch one day many years ago. I noticed the engineers assistant I was with was chuckling. I asked her what was funny and she pointed out this African American gentleman next to us had started to bow down to me. I was not sure how to react to that situation.
Coastal Carolinas game this week against Campbell has been moved up to Wednesday at 1:00 on espn3. Which means they will have 10 days to prepare for us, that’s not good.
Yeah, if I had to select between 10 days to prepare for an opponent or not having to worry about family and property in the aftermath of a major storm, I'd go with not having to worry about family and property every trip of the train. They're playing at Campbell, not in Myrtle Beach, and headed farther inland after the game is over. Their schedule will be anything but routine through at least Sunday or Monday.
