So are you betting the house for the Cajuns to cover? I honestly don’t know what you are seeing here.

We need a score prediction thread. This should have some interesting results.

I think the rules apply as well with Mississippi State........
Theoretically you are correct. The practical application of those rules while playing at a cash cow conference like the SEC is not the same. The officials will do everything in their power to keep us out of the game.

I would think the talent discrepancy plays in to it also. Would any of our defensive players start for State?

    Glad you asked.

I have a golf tourney Friday in Baton Rouge. Going to drive to Biloxi after so I can wake up and go to the Beau’s sparkly new sportsbook to lay some coin on the Cajuns to both cover and outright ML win, before I drive up to Starkville.
Btw, I just can’t wait to see their world renown trailer parks.

Miss State is going to make the fleur de leis defense look like a pinball game...Dogs may cover the over by themselves...

Both would be rotational players at State. That is why they are with us...so they can be starters. After one game, I am glad we have them. Hopefully both have an impact like Otha Peters.

I am like Rick. I want to see us play a fundamentally sound and well executed game. A win would be wonderful, but I expect that we do not match up well up front with Ms St. We also will likely have problems containing their QB.

That being said, I expect Napier and company to have a game plan that gives us a fighting chance, and I expect us to be warriors.

Agree with the warrior comment. I want to see if our guys are still playing hard if things get tough in the second half.
