Miss State is going to make the fleur de leis defense look like a pinball game...Dogs may cover the over by themselves...

Both would be rotational players at State. That is why they are with us...so they can be starters. After one game, I am glad we have them. Hopefully both have an impact like Otha Peters.

I am like Rick. I want to see us play a fundamentally sound and well executed game. A win would be wonderful, but I expect that we do not match up well up front with Ms St. We also will likely have problems containing their QB.

That being said, I expect Napier and company to have a game plan that gives us a fighting chance, and I expect us to be warriors.

Agree with the warrior comment. I want to see if our guys are still playing hard if things get tough in the second half.

....C-Mike, now I think you are better looking but you seem to favor the Clemson coach....has anybody else mentioned this to you???

I don't bet any more (I used to put my money where my mouth is, including $1300 to win $1000 on the over in the Louisiana-aTm game last year) but I would have no problems betting big on Louisiana +30.5 if I were still playing.

I don't think they're 30 points better. Alabama maybe, but not the cowbells.

I put modest bets on the Cajuns from time to time, but I don’t like to bet when I don’t have a read on a team. Grambling told us little about this years team. I’d like to think Napier has us better, but I know he inherited a mediocre team. The way we complete this weekend will be a good barometer on how to bet the Cajuns.

Take the points for Alabama game. Can't see Nick running it up on one of his proteges.

Man I’m not even touching that one. I think Alabama could score 50 on the majority of teams in college football without necessarily running it up. I’ll be at that game with a big group so I’m just gonna enjoy the experience and not worry about all that other stuff.
