The Office of State Parks will honor the memory of J.D. “Prof” LaFleur with the dedication of the Louisiana State Arboretum’s new Visitor Center on Sunday, March 14, at 2 p.m.


The new facility moves operations of the Arboretum inside Chicot State Park. An additional trail was created, to lead visitors to the established nature trails and outdoor classroom.
