"Jeremy Talbot will assist with the hitters while also continuing to bring in top-rated classes to Louisiana as the Recruiting Coordinator. Talbot will also coach the defense which finished 11th in the nation in 2018."

That ought to really light up this board. Now this is NU2ME!!!!!!!!

Pegged it to a T. They had a chance to calm the whole situation but chose to double down. This could probably rank as one of the worst press releases in this universities baseball history. Just why do it this way. Completely missed opportunity to start the fall on a real positive note, but NO.

I think our Athletics Communications Department would have more knowledge of the situation than Kendall Rogers. With the heart burn Talbot caused last year I doubt they would even mention his name next to hitting if it was not 100% true .
