App State Road Trip

I just pulled the trigger on plane tickets and will be making the trip to Boone this year. Just an FYI if anyone is interested there are tickets available on Allegiant (yes one of the budget carriers) from NOLA to Concord NC that weekend for right at $100 roundtrip.

App daughter and I will be there...if you've never experienced what real fall weather is, the colors etc, you're in for a treat..fyi, you can also fly into Greensboro, tri city (Bristol, tn) or Asheville. Game day parking in Boone is a nightmare on campus. You'll also compete for hotel rooms anywhere in the area with groups there for leaf season, might want to look for airbnb.

Already bought our tickets for App St. through UL. Face value is about $50, $15 more than MSU, and after-market tickets are even more. Goes to show you how much they like their football in Boone. Can't wait for this one... mountain air, leaves changing colors, sippin' bourbon, watching the Cajuns win at "The Rock" in one of the South's best college towns. How does it get any better?

App St is a great venue. Nice tailgating and stadium. The people we met were very cool. It’s not the easiest place to get to but once you are there it is very nice.
