So Nunez is the starter moving forward?
We want Bama!
Bandwagon slowed up just enough for me to jump on! Im back _____es!
We have a professional at the wheel folks
Watched on tv. Cajuns were just faster and more fit than Grambling. Coach is right, a lot to improve on. Grambling should have never scored.
Very impressed with the team tonight. Well disciplined, well conditioned, kicking team improved. A few bonehead mistakes but that can be. taken care of. The drive at the end of the first half was exactly what was needed. First drive of second half was impressive 98 yds without first string backfield for the most part.
End of the game let us rest first line guys and gave valuable in game experience to back ups.
Last years team would have struggled with this game. We shall see where we stand in two weeks.
Coach Napier is easy to find in the sideline. He certainly is a big man.
Was very impressed with the crowd.especially with the light rain before and thru kickoff.
Who was player of the game, I didn't see one announced on the scoreboard? I'm assuming it was Nuñez.
Ragas is a good candidate.
Every part needs work. I thought pass protection was the weakest part of our game tonight. Napier did a good job of calling plays to get it out of QB hands quickly.
Two things I liked.
1. Open receivers. Had a couple contested catches, but for the most part they were open.
2. Pressure on the QB. Non-SEC teams will all feel that pressure. I think as they get more disciplined, the QB scramble against man coverage will subside as well.
I give it an A- for the opener versus expectations.
