Thread: Uber/Lyft for games

    Default Uber/Lyft for games

I’ve used them once before for a game. I think they should have a designated pick up/ drop off location like they do on Jefferson st downtown. Sure would make things convenient.

    Exactly

They get to rate their customers as well. Uber drivers refusing customers because of tipping, politics, and incompatibility. Brave New World.

Pick up / Drop will be at Gate #1 over by Reinhardt and Bertrand. Drivers will not be allowed in the lot. They can pick up along the apron.

That's incorrect. The Uber driver will drop wherever they are told by administration or police. If you ask to be dropped off in a place where traffic is high and the driver is going to be in a jam after he drops you off, he'll drop you elsewhere.

They can drop me off wherever the hell because i'm arriving hours early.

I'll walk down bertrand and grab a coffee while I wait for my uber home.

I've literally never run into a problem at football, basketball, baseball, or softball games. I can always get my ride without a problem. pick up the phone and call your driver and talk to him/her.

Wanna bet? I’ll get out of a car wherever I please thank you. Im not lazy or an idiot, I know how to get dropped off somewhere and it wont be “where im told”. You people are ridiculous. Who is tipping the driver? You?the administration? So you are incorrect.

Don’t ever visit Las Vegas. Drivers aren’t allowed to drop off or pick up anywhere but at approved locations. You don’t get a say. The app tells you where to meet your driver and the driver doesn’t get a say in where he gets to pick you up.

We aren’t in Las Vegas, we haven’t had heavy traffic at a Cajun game in years. There are traffic lights at every corner, a hospital, a shopping center, a hotel, an arena and a gas station. It’s not that difficult. You can get dropped off near any tailgate spot. Heavy traffic would make it easier to get out.
