Do you know this for a fact??? I'm not buying it.

MANY textbooks today are electronic and there are multiple ways to protect them. Certainly can be taken advantage of but why this one book? If the publishers answer was to create an outrageous price for the online version then it only shows they are incapable of staying current with technology.

Actually that’s not exactly what the university said. They’re suggesting that they wanted to discourage the use of the online book for the benefit of the students. Apparently there’s something lacking in the on line version.

You may be right, they’re simply trying to keep down book sharing, but again that’s not what’s being pushed as a reason.

I would venture to say that NO level 201 book is worth $1000

I suspect lanny is spouting off about something he has no knowledge. I know of nothing in this world that you can't put your hands on that have even a remote possibility of being "always" available.

Guess I have a magical flashdrive with .pdf files of history and math books.

My wife has a lot of her grad school books on her Amazon account and can access them to this day.

Made the mistake of watching KLFY tonight. They had this story and opted for ULL tonight in the graphics.

Is it that freaking hard? You’re a local news channel.

Isn’t ULL correct when referring to the school and not athletics?
