    This is really a conversation...

We literally give Blu and other trolls ammunition with ____ like this

Vermilion is the absolute hardest color to nail down. (Unique opportunity missed)

Black is the easiest. (can't miss)

The laziness started with the design firm that gave UL the pepper for its 100 year anniversary rebranding effort.

Three years later Gerald Hebert moved black into the architecture around the Swamp.

This is so a summertime thread. I love it! Sort of. Long live black. It looks good in our uniform mixes and matches well with our original colors.

I wonder if maybe he doesn’t realize he is not wearing the colors of the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns?
    Oh, my.

You said the coaches ALWAYS wear their school colors, I just addressed that.

Now you are moving the goal posts.
Ok. Coaches wear their school colors 99% of the time. Happy now? Billy Cash this fall camp 0% of the press conference and clips Ive seen on news and social media. You see the difference?

I love the color black and how it looks in all things. 3 of my vehicles are black (confess to one red one), much of my clothes (including Cajun garb) are black, my dog is black, my phone is black, my glasses are black. . . .
I have nothing against black. I have lots of nice Saints shirts that are black. I have no Cajun gear that is black. I never have understood black Cajuns gear. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Makes complete sense to me. I have as much UNC gear as I do Cajuns gear and many of my shirts are black and that's not a school color either. Its a universal color popular amongst the younger fans and athletes. They like black and schools want to appeal to them as much as possible. Its kind of a "get with the program or get left behind " type of thing.

Not hard to understand why some are drawn to black.

Black is the most "vivid" color to a color blind person. Saturated red looks the same as black to a sizable segment.
