Black is not a color, it is the absence of color. Problem solved. Your welcome.
Yep. That's where the confusion comes in. We should save black for maybe once a year black out only and all sports should do away with it as a normal uni.
Please don't misunderstand me if the school wants to come out and say we are officially changing our colors to red and black I would have no proble with it. But as long as our colors are vermillion and white we should make that the everyday color and black once a year.
I would be willing to bet their is not another school in America in which black is not in their color scheme that wears it as much as our school throughout its athletic teams. The amount we have gone to black is just stupid.
Here is your quote I was replying to ... "I just find that odd. I have seen several clips from practices on every level of football, throughout my life, and the coaches always wear their schools colors."
You said the coaches ALWAYS wear their school colors, I just addressed that.
Now you are moving the goal posts.
As much as black may not be an official school color of the University of Louisiana, it is definitely a "de facto" color of this University.
I love the color black and how it looks in all things. 3 of my vehicles are black (confess to one red one), much of my clothes (including Cajun garb) are black, my dog is black, my phone is black, my glasses are black. . . .
Living in Houston, UH wears black quite a bit and it isn't their school color either. I've seen it in football, basketball & baseball on a regular basis. The other one that sticks out to me is Arizona State for some reason. I don't see them a lot, but it seems when I do, they are in black as well.
I can't believe I just wasted valuable time on earth reading this stupidass thread.
