I think some exaggerate how much interest there is in the program. With so much emphasis in the media on the P5 and there games plastered all over TV, many in the area who don’t have a direct interest in the program pay little attention. Add to that the issue of fewer students paying attention to athletics every year and issue is compounded. I don’t think we can average 30000 even if we win 10 games for a conservative seasons. Note I say this thinking that I am in no way limiting what can be accomplished on the field. I am saying upside support is limited regardless of how successful they are on the field. Let’s have that success so as I can be proven wrong.

I don't think we will be above 14000 any time in the next 3 or 4 years.

For reference, I think it was Evangilne Parish that sold 1000 tickets alone on the flash sale.

With this conference, off a terrible last 2 seasons, our economy down and the tax changes.. it would be an astonishing accomplishment to sell 12k. And we might do it.

You are right.. From what I'm hearing, we are swimming up creek with no paddle and making splashes.. Even if we don't make 14000 mark, its one hell of a beginning.

This is a good point, especially since ticket prices have gone up and minimum contribution levels.
