That's kept under wrap.....might be embarrassing numbers.
There is zero demand for tickets, and it’s a wait and see product. There are 20,000 potential fans that will buy game by game, and have the option of not if the team doesn’t succeed or cold wet weather comes.
Have a great season like baseball has before and demand will increase. Then season ticket sales will mean something.
We can sell 5,000 or 20,000 season tickets. Won’t effect the crowd as much as success on the field.
We could have 30,000 people at the last home game or 10,000. Season ticket sales won’t reflect either way.
Season ticket numbers are very important in terms of budget. That is money the university already has and it also does impact attendance. According to the studies I have read, an individual is 8 times more likely to attend an event they have tickets for than not.
I agree wins will increase attendance, but to say season ticket sales doesn't mean something is incorrect.
I dont know how the flash sells went, but I know I added an additional 10 season tickets
Wasn't our high water mark 14,000 season tickets sold about 5 years ago? Of course the gigs just about up now with kickoff 6 days away. Hope the department will be transparent and announce the totals later this week.
